Welcome to Render and Roots. By accessing our website or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site or place an order.

4. Products

Render and Roots products are handcrafted in small batches using grass-fed beef tallow and natural, intentional herbal infusions. Color, texture, and scent may vary slightly between batches - this reflects the handmade nature of the product, not a defect. We reserve the right to modify formulations, discontinue products, or limit quantities at our discretion.

5. Orders and Payment

By placing an order, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inventory unavailability. Payment is processed at the time of order through our website's payment processor. All prices are listed in USD.

6. Shipping

Shipping rates, timelines, and delivery terms are governed by our Shipping Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We ship to all 50 U.S. states; risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon our delivery of the package to the carrier.

7. Returns and Refunds

Returns, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In summary: unopened, unused products may be returned within 30 days of delivery; opened or used personal-care items are final sale for hygiene reasons, except for damaged or defective items, which are eligible for a free replacement or full refund.

8. Allergies and Skin Sensitivity

Render and Roots products contain natural, biologically active ingredients, including beef tallow and essential oils. Individual skin reactions vary. We strongly recommend a patch test (small amount on inner forearm, wait 24 hours) before full application, especially if you have known allergies, sensitive skin, or are pregnant or nursing.

Render and Roots is not responsible for individual allergic reactions or sensitivities. Discontinue use immediately if irritation occurs and consult a physician if symptoms persist.

9. Not Medical Advice / FDA Disclosure

Render and Roots products are cosmetic and wellness products only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease and have not been evaluated by the FDA. Educational content on our website or social channels (including claims about tallow's fatty-acid and vitamin profile) is provided for general consumer education and does not constitute medical advice.
